Our Goal
The mission of the Ho’ike Hawai’i organization is to bring people together of all cultures and ethnicity to share in the Spirit of Aloha by holding Hawaiian Hula Competitions, Exhibitions and Concerts annually. In addition, Cultural Workshops are held annually and offered to all who have an interest in Polynesia and to educate those of Polynesian ancestry and their children in an effort to perpetuate the culture.

New Category: "Special Mix Group 'Auana" for Ages 13 through 16 years
The Competition Will Include:
Group Hula Kahiko & Hula ‘Auana; Solo Hula Kahiko & Hula ‘Auana & Solo Oli; Keiki Group Hula Kahiko & ‘Auana, Keiki Solo Hula Kahiko & ‘Auana; Tahitian ‘Ote’a, Vahine & Tane Solos
HULA NOA (Open participation for all whether in a halau or not)
Special Mix Group 'Auana (This category can be all wahine, all kane or both with a minimum of 3 dancers) ‘Auana Hula Solo Dance Competition, Ori Tahitian Solos Dance Competition, and Maori Poi Ball Solo Dance Competition.
JUST ADDED: Samoan Taualuga Competition.
